Ace riders like to sit up, so
an Ace has a shorter top tube than a Finest. Ace riders like
lots of stability designed into their bike's handling, so an
Ace has a more relaxed steering angle and a longer wheelbase
than a Finest. An Ace is a confidence-inspiring handler.
Ace's frame and fork are made of Cro-moly steel. Parts are
mostly Shimano Sora, seven rear cogs and three chainrings:
21 gears, all shifted from the bars. You can easily install
two bottle cages and a rear rack and/or fenders on an Ace.
Ace will blissfully drift from inn to inn in Vermont in
September. It will be a worthy partner on your first or
fiftieth century or club ride. Ace will be good company
on one of those cross-state rides like RAGBRAI...
