This years Team frame is made from
X-Fusion Alpha, new aluminum alloy tubes that do not lose
strength when welded. So a new Team will be lighter and ride
better than Teams of the past. That's saying a lot, by the
way. Team frame geometry is exactly the same as the Mercury and 7UP Team Issue bikes. A Team will handle and steer just like those guys' bikes. Its parts are nearly the same too, because current Ultegra comes closer to Dura-Ace than ever before. This year's Team is spec'd with a full-carbon fork, meaning the steerer tube and crown are also carbon fiber. And: Ritchey bladed-spoke aero wheels, a Ritchey seatpost and integrated headset, a titanium-rail saddle and Vittoria Rubino Pro tires with Kevlar beads. Good raceable, trainable, century-rideable stuff. Drop by your Fuji dealer and take a look at a new Team. Re-read the specs and what I've said here.
